The Sales Administrator provides administrative and organizational support to sales managers leading a rapidly growing sales team. He/She manages calendars and appointments for sales leaders, tracks orders, processes paperwork, maintains the customer database, and ensures products or services are delivered on time. The Sales Administrator may also handle customer questions and requests. He/She contributes to the achievement of sales targets by supporting sales associates, coordinating sales activities, and maintaining good customer relationships. The Sales Administrator supports the sales enablement program and works collaboratively and across functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the sales leadership team to improve productivity and efficiency by managing meeting scheduling and logistics and ensuring all sales associates have high-quality, up-to-date support material
- Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and ensure data integrity; validate sales records, prepare reports, and provide financial information to the finance department
- Handle urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales associates are unavailable, answer customer queries, arrange delivery dates, and coordinate with the event team to schedule marketing events
- Manage orders by phone, email, or mail; verify orders have the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers
- Input orders and ensure they are processed according to customer requirements; verify and validate all orders are accurate and delivered on time
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently
- Coordinate with the Sales Enablement Specialist to verify training compliance and to validate sales associates and help them meet their quotas and goals
- Manage budgets for expenses like bonuses, marketing, and travel
- Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
- 3+ years of sales support experience; direct sales and/or sales enablement experience is required
- Must have good team development and influencing skills
- Must be computer literate with proficiency using MS Office and web-based applications; knowledge of HubSpot or similar platform is required
- Exceptional time management, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills are required
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills are required
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines is required
- Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations is preferred
Compensation: Salary + Competitive Commission Structure, Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
