The Vice President of Revenue will develop a clear vision and strategy for driving revenue and co-own attainment of revenue objectives across the Valuetainment family of companies including Valuetainment Media, Bet-David Consulting and Minnect. As a senior leader reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Revenue will lead the Sales and Marketing functions within our company. The successful candidate will maximize revenue from existing products and discover new market opportunities to amplify growth. Our company is experiencing an unprecedented phase of hypergrowth, and the Vice President of Revenue has a unique and exciting opportunity to lead our digital marketing teams, rapidly growing merchandising business, and corporate sponsorships as we scale into our next phase of growth.
Job Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy, Planning and Delivery:
Identify internal and external opportunities to sell and drive. Increases revenue-producing activities, establishes targets, and creates internal processes to achieve efficiencies in revenue generation and capture
Develop and implement comprehensive revenue generation strategies aligned with the Valuetainment’s goals and objectives
Grow demand for the Valuetainment’s product and services
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
Set ambitious revenue targets and develop actionable plans to achieve them
Marketing and Demand Generation:
Lead the marketing team to create and execute effective demand generation campaigns for consulting, event tickets and ecommerce and subscriptions.
Ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts to maximize lead conversion and revenue impact
Instill a quantitative mindset to performance measurement by requiring a data-driven approach to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROAS
Customer Success and Retention:
Oversee customer success initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
Implement strategies to upsell and cross-sell to existing customers, increasing lifetime value
Monitor customer feedback and address any issues to maintain strong customer relationships
Establish analytics and methods to measure and forecast demand and market conditions, identify operational deficiencies, and develop effective and data-driven pricing strategies
Financial Management:
Develop and manage revenue forecasts, budgets, and financial reports
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze revenue performance against targets
Provide regular updates to the executive team on revenue performance and growth initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product development, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment of revenue strategies with overall business objectives
Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support revenue growth
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Proven experience (10+ years) in revenue management, sales leadership, and strategic planning
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets
Experience in media, production, and/or business consultancy is highly desirable
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
