The Financial Analyst analyzes financial data, makes forecasts, and provides investment recommendations to help companies and investors make informed decisions. He/She ensures all financial reporting, operations, and transactions maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory financial policies, standards, and controls. He/She uses financial modeling and analytical tools to measure and forecast the impact of various economic scenarios, risks, and business changes. The Financial Analyst tracks variances between financial projections and actual results to identify and troubleshoots differences and recommends adjustments or improvements. He/She prepares balance sheets, income statements, cash flow analyses, and other financial reports to assess company performance and financial health. This is an onsite role located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We work 5 days per week in-office.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze and forecast sales performance across core business units, including media content, online education, consulting services, events, and digital products. Use historical data and trend analysis to identify revenue drivers and performance gaps
Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs), pricing effectiveness, customer acquisition costs, ROI, and overall business health
Support revenue planning and strategic decision-making, providing scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and insights influencing product launches, investment decisions, and resource allocation
Deliver financial support across multiple business functions, aligning teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial goal setting while ensuring consistency in reporting and accountability
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to evaluate sales funnel performance, conversion rates, and channel efficiency, driving strategic initiatives based on real-time data insights
Translate complex data into actionable insights, creating compelling presentations and reports that inform leadership and guide business growth strategies.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant degree program is required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
3+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Sales Finance, FP&A, or Revenue Strategy
Must have proven ability to build and manage financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards using Excel or Google Sheets
Must have a strong understanding of sales operations, lead funnels, customer segmentation, and pricing optimization
Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly desirable
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders are required
A self-starter mindset with a bias toward action, problem-solving, and delivering high-impact insights in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting is ideal
Prior experience in digital media, consulting, ecommerce, or a startup environment is a plus
Familiarity with Valuetainment’s content, mission, and audience—or a passion for entrepreneurial media is ideal
Experience working with CRM or sales platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or other pipeline management tools is preferred
